Blue headline on a white background, on which loom an horizontal drawing and the table of contents, written in black with redlinings; the drawing represents the western front view of the Prague Old Town Square, preparatory to a project for a new municipal building by Eliel and Eero Saarinen - late 1940s -; the work simply outlines in black and white the historical architectures such as the medieval Town Hall Tower on the left and the Baroque Church of St. Nicholas on the right; between them, and emphasized in colours, are instead the lower modern buildings of the western front, which are more distant yet visible for the collapse of the neo-Gothic wing of the Town Hall itself, destroyed by a fire in 1945 and never rebuilt.
