Smoke rises from a street of Pristina, Kosovo, December 13, 2002. A car bomb exploded outside a restaurant in the Kosovo capital Pristina on Friday night wounding at least 20 people, U.N. administration and international forces in charge of the province said. Five of the 20 people injured were in a serious condition, Captain David Jones of the NATO-led international forces in the province told reporters. The bombing highlighted the volatility of the province, which has been run by the U.N. since June 1999 following NATO's air war to halt Serb repression over the predominantly ethnic Albanian population.
