Workers on the Hibernia oil field supply ship, Mearsk Norseman, battle high seas while trying to attach tow cables to a 150,000 ton iceberg approximately 100km northeast of St. John's, Newfoundland April 29. Springtime brings icebergs into Newfoundland waters from Greenland and marine companies use iceberg "towing" to reduce the risk of icebergs colliding with the Hibernia oil production platform on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland in the region where the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank.
