The little Mary, accompanied by her mother Anna, has just climbed the stairs and reached the marble fence of the Temple, where the priest is waiting for her; other women, with their head veiled, wait behind the priest, before a pulpit and a ciborium; some men, among which is Joachim, witness the scene standing a little apart, and a servant go up the stairs carrying a basket of clothes on the back; into the decorative band on the right is depicted a saint, bust-length, within a polylobed cornice.
