Miss Whitehead, who became known as The Bank Nun. Sister of Paul Whitehead, a former Bank of England clerk who was sentenced to death for forging an acceptance to a bill. Miss Whitehead lost her mind after his death and for some 25 years following this she went to the bank daily, awaiting him under the delusion that he was still and employee. Published in the New Wonderful magazine.
