The home of the world’s finest collection of Staffordshire ceramics, The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery tells the story of Stoke-on-Trent’s community, industry products and landscapes through displays of pottery, archaeology, community history geology and wildlife. The art collection is rich and varied and of regional and national importance. Highlights include twentieth century British paintings, internationally significant prints and local views. Costume and textiles dating from the fifteenth century to the present day are another strength. There are substantial collections of glassware, metalwork and dolls.
