Oslo 1987-09-04: Kindergarten strike in Oslo. Preschool teachers for four weeks long illegal strike. Discussions between the City of Oslo, the Norwegian Teachers' Association and the Norwegian Municipal Association led almost three weeks later to the preschool teachers blowing their illegal strikes. The result was an agreement sketch, where all the municipal kindergartens in Oslo were promised one basic staffing of three employees per department from the fall of 1988. Preschool teachers believed they have been pushed down the escalation period from four years, as that Layed to, and down to one year.
