Beside a road, in front of an Antique ruin, a woman sits on the ground stilling her child, with a dog beside her, and surrounded by a cow, a horse, and sheep. Further away on the road, a shepherd sleeps under a tree, with a couple [?] of sheep beside him. There is a view to a plain bounded by distant mountains on the right.
