Because Austria has no right to exist, blood for blood. Brothers! Brothers! in the fight, the Czechs and Slovaks shouted about Valbella. They were looking in the middle of the Austrian ranks for the people of their blood. Voices of hate, Magyar voices answered. Soon there were gasps. But someone was still looking, calling, Brothers! Brothers! Suddenly, in the sound of battle, a cry answered, a cry that was of superhuman joy. From a hole an Austrian soldier jumped up, rushed towards a Czech soldier. To that cry another answered and died in a silent embrace. Two brothers not only from their homeland but by blood, two born by the same mother had found themselves in the midst of the battle.
