Image description

Known simply as DPM, the classic ‘brushstroke’ pattern was first issued to British soldiers in Northern Ireland in 1969, but was only widely worn from 1972 onwards. It remained the standard British camouflage for over forty years until the British Army introduced a new camouflage pattern in 2010.
