The widow, centre, of Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic movement and General Henri Guisan, will take part in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne on 17 June 1944 with speeches and guests of honour in the auditorium of the University of Lausanne. In the first row, sitting from right to left, are the Swedish president in Switzerland, Baronne Godefroy de Blonay, Professor Meylan, Councillor Fazan, General Henri Guisan, Baronne Pierre de Coubertin, President of the Vodoz government, Jules-Henri Addor, President of Lausanne.
