Title
South Korea North Korea border
Description
Tourists use binoculars from the South Korean side to look over the border to North Korea in the sensitive Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) at the Joint Security Area (JSA) near Panmunjom, South Korea, 28 March 2013. South and North Korea are technically still at war after the 1950 to 1953 Korean war ended in an armistice and the Korean peninsular remains divided since then. A 250 km long and some four km wide demilitarized Zone (DMZ) runs across the Korean peninsular and is regarded as the most militarized border in the world.
