Title
South Korea North Korea border
Description
A South Korean soldier stands right at the concrete marked line dividing the Koreas in the building which crosses into North Korea in the sensitive Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) at the Joint Security Area (JSA) where the 1953 armistice agreement was signed in Panmunjom, South Korea, 28 March 2013. South and North Korea are technically still at war after the 1950 to 1953 Korean war ended in an armistice and the Korean peninsular remains divided since then. A 250 km long and some four km wide demilitarized Zone (DMZ) runs across the Korean peninsular and is regarded as the most militarized border in the world.
