News photographer Ron Wurzer photographs the remains of a tree stump at a home in Tacoma, Washington on October 24, 2002 that FBI investigators chopped down and removed as evidence linked to the Washington, D.C. serial sniper investigation on October 23. Investigators say that the tree stump may have been riddled with bullets and other items such as bullet casings may have been found at the Tacoma home where suspect John Allen Muhammad had previously lived when he was a U.S. Army soldier stationed at nearby Fort Lewis in the 1980's.
