A Russian smuggler straps Chinese-made goods onto his body at the Greater Heihe Island free trade centre in the Chinese city of Heihe, September 6, 2002. Heihe is the first frontier trade crossing on the Sino-Russian border in China's Heilongjiang province. Every day goods worth about one million yuan ($120,000) are transported across the Heilongjiang River to the Russian city of Blagoyeshchensk.
