AMERICAN KATHY KELLY HOLDS UP PICTURES OF IRAQ, 1997-03-26 (photo)

U.S. Kathy Kelly holds pictures of Iraqi children during a demonstration outside the United Nations offices in Amman, March 26. Kelly claims that the children died within the last two weeks due to lack of blood plasma. Kelly and five other Americans, calling themselves Voice in the Wilderness, returned from sanction-hit Baghdad on Wednesday after delivering medicine. The American group are urging U.S, President Bill Clinton and the United Nations to lift economic sanctions imposed on Iraq since the 1990 Gulf crisis to save the lives of thousands of people there.
