Spring Films: Night Will Fall
Bridgeman Footage has been proud to contribute archival and contemporary footage to many exciting projects so far this year. One we are particularly honoured with is André Singer's critically acclaimed documentary Night Will Fall, which features rare footage from our exclusive Buff Films collection. A rare interview with Mike Lewis, a cameraman who filmed the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945, features throughout the film, which was produced by Spring Films and released by the BFI in cinemas across the country.
Night Will Fall tells the vital story of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps through the eyes of the courageous men who filmed them. Alongside this, it tells the remarkable tale of a hitherto unseen documentary, created by Sidney Bernstein and Alfred Hitchcock in 1945, about the horrors of the holocaust.
