About the Artist Australian artist Catherine Abel is a self-taught painter, influenced greatly by European art and history. She is internationally renowned for her striking figurative oil paintings and is a much sought-after portraitist. Just a few months ago, Abel also had her work licensed through Bridgeman for this stunning mural for High-line New York Bar & Lounge at a new leisure complex in Birmingham.
