Bridgeman attends the 2016 Royal Academy America Gala

Bridgeman was honored to be invited to attend this year's Royal Academy America's annual gala, honoring neo-conceptual American artist Jenny Holzer and world-renowned British architect Lord Norman Foster

Edward Whitley, Bridgeman Images' President of North and South America, was pleased to be able to attend the 2016 RAA Gala amongst some of the most influential members of the art world today.

Held in the legendary Hearst Tower this year, the Gala celebrates the creators of art as well as its supporters. The RAA selects artists from all different background to honor at each event. This year, the RAA honored neo-conceptual American artist Jenny Holzer, and world-renowned architect Lord Norman Foster, who was the designer of the building that housed this year's gala!

Bridgeman Images was honored to be invited to attend this year's event, as it is always a pleasure to have the ability to mingle amongst artists and creators, many of whom Bridgeman represents. Notably in attendance was "painter of light" Bill Jacklin. We had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Jacklin, which is featured in this month's newsletter.
