Kitsch Content

GraphicaArtis is one of the most extensive and highly acclaimed collections of heritage vintage graphic images in the United States.

The kitsch pop-culture archive is a treasure trove of rare and unusual vintage graphics, illustrations, editorial adverts, poster prints and more from the late 19th and early 20th century.

An Avid Collector

A lifelong collector of early process photography, founder and owner of GraphicaArtis, Sue Hartke, began building upon her collection of vintage ephemera in the early 1990’s. Drawn to the visuals of vintage books, posters and advertising, Hartke’s collection grew to an impressive archive which she later made publicly available.

Vintage Treasures

The whimsical theme of the images from GraphicaArtis evoke a sentimental view of early 20th century America. Ranging from posters and prints and vintage graphics, to festive content and the weird and wonderful, the GraphicaArtis archive is delightfully diverse.
