Inside Sales Position - New York
Bridgeman Images, the prestigious international archive specializing in licensing fine art, cultural and historical images and footage is seeking a motivated inside sales professional to effectively manage opportunities from validation to closure. The company’s US operation is in the heart of New York City on Madison Avenue near Grand Central. The company represents over 2000 museums, galleries, artists and archives worldwide and its clients include magazine, trade and educational publishers, TV and Film Studios, stationery product companies plus commercial and digital agencies. Manage opportunities from lead validation to successful closure (win)
Support sales manager & account managers to realise team objectives
Achieve sales targets and win rates for assigned projects
Handle inbound sales from various sectors as well as to pro-actively build on such opportunity by upselling and cross-selling
Identify leads and pass to the appropriate account manager to support business development and customer loyalty opportunities.
Manage sales opportunities by effective prioritisation, project management and pro-active follow-up. Tasks include but are not limited to liaise and brief research team (conduct some research if customer timeline requires this), advise clients on licensing, copyright and rights clearances; prepare quotes and pro-actively follow-up
Work in close collaboration with the Customer Service representative to make sure customers have a premium customer experience
Accurate, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
An appreciation for Art, Culture and History is needed given the nature of the services sold
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in excel, word and use of email
Resourceful, highly organized and displays a flexible and positive attitude
Excellent time & project management
A relationship builder both internally and externally but a focus on getting things done
Prepared to work as part of a small, passionate and dedicated team
Initiative, energy and good humor
