Simply put, Bridgeman is the source for historical material. With the upcoming anniversaries of the American Civil War and World War I, we have been actively acquiring and cataloguing paintings, photography, letters, objects, weaponry and uniforms from a stellar list of museum and collection partners. These include 15 regional American historical societies such as Virginia, New-York, New Orleans and California, libraries such as New York Public Library and Newbery Library of Chicago, Peter Newark American Pictures, the Civil War Archive and fantastic European collections such as Archives Charmet, the British Library in London and the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin.

The 'Monsterpiece': a trend that is alive and well

With the mania over The Twilight Saga series all things supernatural, and the continued success of well known works by Jane Austen and Leo Tolstoy remade into tales of zombie mayhem and future science fiction, this trend shows no sign of slowing down.
