Laboratoriorosso

The legendary artifacts of Egypt are some of the most prized treasures in the world. Bringing additional material to our already detailed egyptology offering, the Laboratorriorosso collection - exclusively represented by Bridgeman - features a very special set of three-dimensional animated models. Showcasing, in breathtaking detail, some of the most famed pieces from Egyptian history, the collection includes Tutankhamun's funerary mask,  the statue of Khufu, and the famed Lotus Head statuette. Alongside these treasures, the tombs of Khufu, Qar and the pyramids of Saqqara can be explored. Cast a birds eye view over the grounds or swoop into the burial chambers as though on your own archaeological adventure.

The three-dimensional models currently within our archive can be re-animated to change the movement on request. We also hold a long list of other images that can be made into a similar 3D attraction on a bespoke basis, including statues of Mersuankh, cerimonial daggers, shabtis and a range of Islamic artifacts.

Also featuring within the Laboratoriorosso collection are a wide range of contemporary HD b-reel clips from Egypt, focusing on cultural traditions, landscapes, archeology and art. The 9 Heritage Key videos make up the final part of this impressive egyptology resource. Each film contains a short, self-edited documentary about a particular area of Egyptian study and history.

Battlefields in Motion

19th Century American military history is brought to life by Battlefields in Motion, a newly exclusive collection at Bridgeman. Fort Moultrie, a 200 year old defence structure, has been virtually recreated using satellite imagery to calibrate its outer perimeter and the north-western interior around its Magazine, while the footprint of its long-lost West Barracks allowed for a virtual resurrection of the building. Fully-functional cannons have also been replicated from 19th-Century US Artillery manuals. The resulting three-dimensional models serve to produce a variety of instructive video-clips, dioramas, and photographs.

Other projects are currently under development by Battlefields in Motion and will be added to the Bridgeman archive on completion.
